Within the Department of Engineering the Research activities cover a range of research interests including:

The Centre for Intelligent Information Processing Systems (CIIPS) coordinates activities on intelligent information systems, encompassing hardware-software co-design, nanoscale information systems, signal processing, information engineering, and quantum information processing.
